We had a wonderful day in Santry on Wednesday, May 21st. The sun was shining and we had a full team of athletes competing in events including shot putt, long jump, high jump, 600m, sprints and relays. Every athlete competed to the best of their ability on the day and we were delighted to bring home some medals-it made all our early morning training sessions worthwhile. Huge congratulations to Elliott Steen who won silver in the boys U-14 shot putt and to the boys and girls U-14 relay teams who took home bronze medals. Cian Recks was also awarded a silver medal for his art entry for the Cumann na mBunscoil mascot competition. Well done to all involved and thanks to Mrs Murphy, Ms Patterson, Ms Garrigan, Mr Callaghan and Karen for tall their hard work in preparation for the big day.
