School closes for Summer holidays on Tuesday the 30th of June - infants and their siblings will go home at 12.15 and all others at 12.30. School reopens on Thursday the 27th of August.
First and Second Class made some beautiful 3d Sunflowers inspired by Sunflowers Vincent Van Gogh. We looked at the colours used by Vincent Van Gogh in his painting and drew our own sunflowers using oil pastels. We then moved to creating Sunflowers by cutting, sticking and folding different coloured paper. Everyone created a beautiful sunflower, which we will hang up outside our classroom to display the fantastic work of the artists in First and Second Class.
