Green schools

Since our theme this year for our Green Flag is Food and Biodiversity, 1st class began preparing the soil for the winter and harvesting some crops.

 

We also collected material for the school Bug Hotel that our STEM reps will make. Our 5th/6th class buddies were a great help and we collected everything from conkers to leaves and tree bark. We noted plant and tress locally as well as projects the local tidy towns had completed. Back at school we created our own mini bug hotels.
