School closes for Summer holidays on Tuesday the 30th of June - infants and their siblings will go home at 12.15 and all others at 12.30. School reopens on Thursday the 27th of August.
May is local history month and 2nd class went on a history walk around the village. The children learned about the standing stone in Cloch Choirnéal which has old Irish writing OGHAM. We continued our walk to the heritage centre and graveyard. The children had a great time and learned loads about the history of their local area.
